Very satisfying with the 5 Cs of these stones
I purchased two .75 trillion & one 3 carat round cut stones. The 3 carat round color was much darker than the trillions. In essence, I cannot use them together in jewelry. I have ordered from other companies in the past without any problems. Maybe I the incorrectly assumed your stones would be the same color or missed the fact I needed to order them differently from your company. Please rectify this issue.
Hi Lea Anne,
I'm sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the stones that you received.
What you're likely seeing is the difference in the refraction of light the dark velvet of the gem jar through the larger stone, which has a depth almost double the smaller. Both stones, the 6.0mm trillion and 9.5mm round, are cut from the same clear raw material.
I've sent you some images of a ring setting with similar stone sizes (10.0mm round and 4.0mm trillion) so you can see that once the stones are in a setting and the light is able to reach both the top and bottom of the stones (as opposed to being held or laying on a surface that reflects colored light into the stones), the light for both the larger and smaller stones looks the same. There is not a color difference between these stone sizes and the raw material is all the same, colorless/white.
If you do wish to return either of the stones we will gladly accept them back as a return and will communicate with you directly by email to confirm the details.
The ring arrived and I let it sit in its box for a few weeks. I took it out and really let some light on it and holly molly this ring is brilliant. Well the day came on Thanksgiving and we were all about to toast the start of the meal with lots of family and friends. I turned to my girlfriend of nine years and pulled out this ring. I made sure to seat us next to the window with sun at our backs. I asked and she said YES and put the big ring on. The sun hit it just right and there were little stars all over the table and I kid you not everyone was speechless. People all wanted to get a super close up of this ring. The ring became the shining star of the whole occasion. We could have bought an actual mined African diamond as we could defiantly afford it but we didn't want to support it. I have read about lab grown diamonds and if this ring didn't impress me I was going to replace the cubic with lab stones but no need. These Cubic's are mind blowing with platinum metal. These people make the most beautiful rings period and that there easy on the bank balance is just an extra bonus.
I was surprised to see how small the CZs were! I just ordered a sizer to find out which I need. I'll be ordering the right sizes soon! (I thought about sending you my product so you could determine which size I needed, but no...)
Hi Michael, so sorry that the sizes you ordered weren't correct! We suggest you use a precision caliper to measure the prongs of your piece so you can get a better idea of the stone size you need. Once you have the measurement, let us know and we'll help you with a product exchange. Thank you for trusting CubicZirconia.com!
