Q: don’t live in the United States. Can your prices be displayed in my country’s currency instead of in U.S. dollars?
Q: I want to upgrade my shipping option / I want to make a small change to my order that costs more. Why do I need to give you my credit card information again over the phone or pay for this second "add-on" purchase online separately? Can't you just charge me?
A: To avoid potentially ruining a customer’s surprise for their gift recipient (who may share the same bank or credit card account), we do not use “CubicZirconia.com” or any other jewelry-related company name when processing your payment. That means our billing will appear discreetly on your credit card or banking statement. Here is an image showing what your billing statement should reflect:

A: Your online payment on our website is secure, because we've invested in building our e-commerce store with the most secure SSL-protected online shopping, similar to Amazon.com or any well-known online merchant. The company that provides our online payment processing serves over one-third of American households in a given year and processes hundreds of billions of U.S. dollars worth of transactions annually for over 400,000 online shops like ours. Plus our shopping cart works in such a way that after your card is successfully charged for the full amount of your purchase, your credit card information is promptly deleted from the system. We do not maintain any of your personal payment information apart from the last 4 digits of the credit card.
A: Many of our customers find the checkout process on CubicZirconia.com to be simple and easy to use. We’re pretty happy when orders are placed around the clock at our customers’ convenience through our automated and secure online process (for more details on our secure online checkout see FAQ question “I don’t feel comfortable entering my credit card details online. But for those who prefer to place an order by phone, or if you’re really more comfortable giving us your credit card information over the phone so we can process your payment, for your peace of mind, we can do that too.

It is our policy to never keep credit card details, whether provided online or via any other method (phone for example). After submission and order confirmation, we will immediately and permanently destroy any personal payment notes taken during facilitation of your over-the-phone order.
Please note that some payment methods such as Paypal, Dwolla, GoogleWallet, ApplePay or financing cannot be used as easily with an over-the-phone purchase, and in the case of wanting to use those methods for purchase over the phone, for your transactional security will require an email-and-online-click confirmation to complete the order once we help you add the products you want to your online shopping cart and initiate the purchase over the phone.
A: Your payment method will be charged as soon as you place your order with us. We will process an order to ship an in-stock item or begin manufacturing a made-to-order item only after payment has been confirmed as received by our bank. A: The information below applies to our retail, non-jewelry-industry customers just purchasing our products for themselves. For wholesale purchases, manufacturers and resellers-- either of volume loose stones and some wholesale cubic zirconia jewelry items we offer-- please click here for more information.
For retail purchases, we accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB, Diner’s Club and all other major US, Canadian, UK, and Australian credit cards and debit cards, along with PayPal, AmazonPay, GooglePay (GPay), Dwolla, and financing through Affirm (U.S. customers) or Paypal Credit (international non-U.S. customers). These options should be available at check-out for you to choose from through our secure online e-commerce store.
Bank Wire: We accept Bank Wire Transfers for purchases US $1,167 and above (bank wire payments are subject to a $35 USD processing fee). Please note: some financial institutions do charge a fee for bank wires; please contact your bank for more information. An ACH transfer is not the same as a wire transfer. At this time, our company does not accept ACH transfers. As of November 2018, there is now a way to check out on our website and select “bank wire” as payment method, which allows us to provide the next steps to wire the money securely. Contact us for details and bank wiring instructions. If checking out and selecting the “Bank wire” payment method, you will receive an email with full instructions on how to complete the wire transfer after placing your order. If we do not receive your wire transfer within 5 days of placing your order, the order will be canceled. It can take from 2 to 48 hours for domestic transfers to complete. When the funds have been received from your bank, we will send a confirmation email and will complete the processing of your order.
Layaway (payment program): Yes, Layaway payment programs are available (no credit approval required). Please see FAQ question “Do you offer layaway/payment programs?”. At this time, there is no way to check out on our website and select “Layaway (payment program)” as payment method. Contact us for details and payment program instructions.

Gift certificates: At this time, there is no way to check out on our website and select “Gift certificate” as payment method. Gift certificates are redeemable by phone only. Call toll-free at U.S. 1-888-355-2484 with your gift certificate number to make a purchase.
Checks & Money orders: Sorry, we cannot accept personal checks, company checks or money orders.
Multiple payment methods: See “Can I use multiple payment methods to purchase?” question.
A: Yes, you can receive a 3% discount by paying with Dwolla. You can also receive a 3% discount paying with Bank wire, though please note that Bank wire purchases are subject to a US$35 processing charge (so in order to save, the purchase would need to be more than US$1167 in total). This is the reason we accept Bank Wire Transfers for purchases US $1,167 and above.

A: If you want to pay using multiple credit/debit cards or other forms of accepted payment, you can call our toll free number at 1-888-355-2484 during our business hours for assistance. Our website is not configured to do that, but we’re happy to help you spread your purchase across multiple payment methods
A: The credit card security code is a 3 or 4 digit number that appears on your credit card, apart from the main 15-digit or 16-digit credit card number. This is also sometimes referred to as CVV or credit card verification number.
Visa, MasterCard and Discover card users will typically find this 3-digit code at the back of the card. When you flip your card over, you should see either the entire 16-digit credit card number or just the last four digits, followed by a special 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is your Card Security Code or CVV verification number.
American Express users will find this 4-digit number on the front of the card. Look for the 4-digit code printed on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main credit card number. This 4-digit code is your Card Security Code or CVV verification number.

If the amount charged exceeds your credit limit or if your payment method is declined, your order will be automatically declined and you will be notified through on-screen prompts.
Any order can be placed for any amount for any product over the phone during our company’s business hours. Please note that we do not have access to your credit card company’s decision to process the payment or not; we will not be able to help you determine why a charge is declining. In this case you should call your credit card company directly to access your account and see pending and/or declined charges.
A: Yes, we do! A CubicZirconia.com gift certificate is perfect for any occasion. Gift certificates are orderable by phone only (call toll-free at U.S. 1-888-355-2484). The certificate arrives in both email digital copy and paper certificate copy to the receiver name/email address and mailing name/address of your choice as purchaser. Allow up to 48 hours for digital email delivery, and 3-5 days for mail physical copy delivery. Rush orders for overnight delivery may be available for an additional fee, call for details.
Gift certificates are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be returned for a cash refund, and expire 36 months after delivery. Any unused and unexpired portion of a gift certificate used for any purchase will remain available for future purchases under the same gift certificate number. A: Yes, we do have a layaway program you can take advantage of today. This requires a Paypal account. For a non-refundable setup fee of just $10 via PayPal, you can take advantage of our in-house layaway program (no credit approval required) to pay for your CubicZirconia.com purchase over time rather than in one payment. We offer layaway payments for both U.S. and international customers. Important: Unlike buy-now-pay-later financing offers explained in our Financing FAQ, your Layaway order will only be manufactured and shipped once the final payment is complete. Layaway plans are cancellable and refundable up until the full balance is paid, with the exception of the non-refundable set up fee.
After an initial deposit, our layaway plan allows you to make payments on any purchase. There is no requirement for a payment every month. You may send any payment amount in any frequency you want until the full purchase amount is satisfied. For example, for a $1000 ring, you could send two payments of $500, ten payments of $100, or 100 payments of $10 during any span of time. If you ever change
Payments may be made at your own pace; however, please keep two things in mind:
Prices for precious metals products on layaway are fixed for only 90 days after initial layaway payment. We reserve the right to increase or decrease pricing for your product on any Layaway orders that are open for more than 90 days (pursuant to our dynamic pricing policy for precious metals products of silver, gold, palladium and platinum whose material costs fluctuate). From a timing standpoint, we may reprice the product(s) on layaway and notify you of the change any time after 90 days or even up to receiving what you believed to be the final payment.
- Example: Customer wants a gold ring priced today at $1,030. She initiates layaway with a non-refundable $10 dollar set up fee and then pays 10 payments of $100 over a 2 year span-- in the belief that she then has a "balance due" of $30. However, the wholesale cost for gold increased 20% in the previous 2 years; she should expect an increase in her retail price for this ring made of gold. Layaway customers may contact CubicZirconia.com customer service any time for a requested pay-off amount based on the week’s wholesale precious metal costs.
- 2 years is really the longest we’d like to have a layaway open (though we’ve done longer for happy, appreciative customers who don’t make our lives difficult!). We reserve the right to notify you of incomplete Layaway plans that reach 18 months since first payment, and request that final payment be completed in the following 6 months. See this page and contact us for details.
Note only for custom CZ jewelry program layaway customers: once $300 US is paid on custom jewelry program layaway plans, that amount will be credited towards a non-refundable CAD deposit. That will allow us to provide you with the 3D digital CAD image renderings of your design from different angles before you pay the remaining balance on your own time schedule and we manufacture the final piece. These renderings give you the opportunity to see the design, as well as collaborate with us to offer feedback so we can make any changes, and ensure that you personally have full approval of the design. We don’t begin manufacturing until you’re fully satisfied and approve the CAD renderings, as well as make the remaining payment. However, this program gives our layaway custom jewelry customers an “intermediary” step to enjoy our design process before they’re able to pay for the full purchase.
If layaway isn’t your style and you dream of wearing/gifting the product before you finish paying for it, credit-qualified customers can get “same as cash” buy-now-pay-later terms where you get your products up-front with no delays-- just like you had checked out with a credit or debit card. As of writing, our CubicZirconia.com product prices can be displayed in ten (10) other international currencies.
If you visit our website from the United States, our website is designed so that all of our product prices will be displayed in U.S. dollars. If you visit from Canada (CAD), the prices can be manually displayed in Canadian dollars with just two clicks (see below). If you visit from any country within the European Union (EUR), prices can be displayed in Euros (“€”). The same is true if you visit our site from Mexico (MXN), United Arab Emirates (AED “Dhs.”), Australia (AUD), Great Britain (GBP "£" British pounds), Hong Kong (HKD), India (INR “Rs.”), Japan (JPY “¥”), or New Zealand (NZD) -- prices can quickly and manually be changed by you to be displayed in the respective currency of your country/region. For all other countries not mentioned here, prices will be displayed in U.S. dollars by default.
How to manually change our website’s currency display setting: To find out if your currency is available to display, and make the change manually...you can change the currency setting using the drop-down box in the upper right corner of our website. Simply click the down arrow to see the different currencies available from the list provided.
Choose the international currency in which you’d want to display the prices on our online catalog (see portion boxed in red on the screenshot below).
You may need to “refresh” your current webpage on CubicZirconia.com if you want a product you’re already looking at to change pricing currency, but all other product pages will then use the new currency during your shopping session.
While you can shop and compare prices using another currency if that is convenient for you, please note, however, that at checkout for purchase all prices will be automatically converted to U.S. dollars.

A: Yes, we accept international orders. We are a United States based firm, but are happy to ship worldwide to our customers. We ship most often outside the U.S. to Australia, Canada, China, Europe, India, Mexico, and the UK but we are able to ship internationally to the countries listed at the link provided: full list of countries we can accept orders from and ship to customers. At that link you’ll also find international ordering details as far as shipping, taxes, customs duties etc.
A: All orders over US$300 ship for free to most worldwide locations including North America, Australia, and more than 50 countries in Europe. For orders below US$300 that ship to these international locations, a flat fee of US$25 is charged for standard shipping services.
For orders to be shipped to most other international locations not specified above, we charge a flat rate shipping charge of US$75 for orders below US$500; US$50 for orders US$500 - $2499; and free shipping for orders at US$2,500 and above.
International orders typically ship through DHL Express Worldwide (average 2-day shipping service to most worldwide locations). From time to time, we also use FedEx and/or UPS for international shipments, depending on the destination and the shipping option that is deemed to be the most reliable for that service area.
Orders shipped outside the United States are subject to all customs, duties, and taxes imposed by the country of import. Customs charges will vary per item and per country, and cannot be calculated prior to shipping your order. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer.

A: Sales tax will be assessed at the time of purchase only for orders shipped to Kentucky, United States. All other locations in the United States do not have sales tax assessed.
For orders shipped internationally to non U.S. customers, we do not assess taxes at the time of order; however, please see FAQ question “Will I need to pay customs duties for my international order?” since your location may require you to pay something to those local authorities (we do not collect nor receive those funds, that is managed directly with the customs authority in the recipient country). CubicZirconia.com considers these fees to international locations, countries, territories or other governmental bodies to be responsibility of the receiving party (customer)
Please note; The recipient of an International shipment may be subject to a value-added tax (VAT) or import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. Additionally, the shipping service may charge a Collect On Delivery, Cash On Delivery, or Cash Receipt On Delivery fee (COD). These charges must be fulfilled by the recipient. CubicZirconia.com has no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be.
A: For your protection, we cannot do that. You see, your online payment on our website is secure, because we've invested in building our e-commerce store with the most secure SSL-protected online shopping, similar to Amazon.com or any well-known online merchant. But We DO NOT store your payment information after purchase.
Truth be told, if you pay our company online, we never even have access to your credit/debit card details directly, since your payment online goes through a secure "gateway". It is because of this that we can’t simply "bill you" upon request for a small order upgrade of any kind. In fact, whenever you shop online and as an afterthought, you decide to make an “upgrade” or add a new item to your order after you’ve already entered your credit card information, you need to watch if they don’t ask you for your credit card info again for the new charges. If they don’t ask, chances are...they’ve stored your credit card information the first time you entered it - and in our opinion that’s a security concern.
So rest assured, if you ask for an upgrade or an additional order, and we ask you to pay the additional amount over the phone or email you to enter your credit card information again online...it's not to annoy you; it’s so we can help you to keep your payment details more secure.
A: Hold it, just because our payment processor or website declines your purchase...we’re not saying you don’t have money to pay for your order! If you say you have money in your account, we believe you. We don’t have access to the “decline codes” from your credit card company, all we get is the pass/fail response. So let’s work together to find another explanation for the declined credit card, okay?
First, please verify that the billing address you submitted on our website’s checkout matches the address your bank/credit card company has on file-- otherwise the transaction may be declined. If you’re unsure, try the order again being careful to type each word and number including full street names, city names and country names (e.g. “Jones Lane” instead of “Jones Ln”, “Atlanta” instead of “ATL” or “Australia” instead of “Aus”)
Also please verify that the CVV code, expiration date, and the full account number match exactly as they are written on your card. A mismatch in any of these fields will almost certainly cause a card to decline.
Another possible explanation you can quickly clear up would be a “card hold”. If you’ve recently stayed at a hotel or rented a car using your credit card, the hotel or the car rental company sometimes issues a “hold” on your credit card to ensure you’ll have enough money there to pay for their services. This can sometimes cause your credit card to be declined when using it for other purchases because they are reserving a larger part of your available balance for these possible future charges. The good news is that this can easily be fixed by simply calling your bank and asking if there’s a “hold” issued on your card and requesting them to lift it.
The other explanation (which is more serious), is a possible fraud or account security threat causing your card to be frozen until those potentially fraudulent transactions can be verified. Again, we’re not saying you’re the culprit. In fact, you may be the victim, so we urge you to call your bank right away so they can help you sort it out.
Also, our site uses state-of-the-art, anti-fraud technology to help secure online purchases. Whenever a transaction is flagged by our security program as a possibly fraudulent transaction, the initial preventive reaction is to decline the credit card purchase. We can manually override that if you’re willing to make a verification purchase; contact our team for details.
If you believe none of these explanations apply to you but your card is still declining the purchase...we’re still happy to help. You can only spin once and spinning requires you to join our newsletter to be eligible to spin.
Once you have the code, it should automatically be applied in your cart at checkout (code only valid for 24 hours). If you go to your cart and don’t see the code, you can also manually enter the code on the first page of checkout (shipping address page) to receive a discount on your order.
A: If paying with a credit/debit card, you will find the coupon code (aka discount code, aka promotional code) field on the first page of the checkout when you are entering your personal information like email address, shipping address and phone number. It’s a box in the upper right of the screen that looks like this:
Please note that this is before selecting shipping options (step 2) or entering credit card information (step 3).
If paying with Paypal Express Checkout, you may first be directed to Paypal to enter your shipping and billing addresses. After that, you will be returned to our store where you will choose your shipping rate; at this time you can type in or copy-paste the provided code and the price will be updated accordingly prior to payment confirmation. On this same page, you will be able to finalize the transaction.

A: Let’s troubleshoot this problem:
- First off, let’s make sure you aren’t just missing the input field box for where to put it in during our checkout flow (it can differ depending on what payment method you’re using): see FAQ question “Where do I enter the coupon code (aka discount code, aka promotional code) to save money?”. If you’re putting the promo code in the correct place and that doesn’t give you what you need...
- Second, are you sure that the code you’re trying to use can be used for the type of product/item you’re trying to buy? Some codes we issue have eligibility specific to a certain product (e.g. only a custom jewelry CAD deposit)...a certain product collection (e.g. only cubic zirconia halo rings)...or only for a certain order amount (e.g. good on orders above $1000 USD). If we handed out the code to you or someone else personally (or published it online), we work hard to make sure to always say what it can/cannot be used for to save money when buying.
Third, let’s talk about where you got this code. Pretty much the only coupon codes (aka discount codes, aka promotional codes) we typically offer are:
- handed out 1 by 1 from our customer support team to an individual customer (and those may be limited for use to just that person via email address used to check out),
- or provided to our customers as a gift they can give to their friends/referrals (know a happy customer? Have them reach out and ask our customer support team for a code you can use as their referral),
- or posted publicly for a limited time on our company blog or Facebook page (these codes expire after the allotted time has passed)
- or earned through spinning our online deal-spin promo wheel called Wheelio
- or distributed through our email newsletter-- see FAQ question “How do I get a coupon code (aka discount code, aka promotional code) to save money on my order?” for details and to subscribe).
- So if you found the code some other way like a deal-sharing site or coupons forum...there’s a good chance it could be expired, or all the available deals used up.
- Yes, codes do expire. For example, our deal-spin promo wheel Wheelio puts out codes to website visitors that are meant to be used in the next 24 hours only.
- Yes, some codes handed out may be for use by only a limited number of customers...and once they’re used up, they cannot be used anymore.
- Lastly, let’s make sure there are no misplaced spaces when typing in your code. Preferably, you would copy-paste the code into the input field box on our website to ensure an exact match. But when you do it, please double check that no misplaced spaces are copied (including before or after the actual code. Does that make sense? Sometimes there can be a tricky, unseen space either before or after the actual text and it’ll screw up getting registered in our system every time. Check for those unwanted spaces and delete them, and then try it again.

We do from time to time have a specific collection of jewelry that is “on sale” but we won’t lie to you: it’s not frequent. It’s just not how we do business, and that’s on purpose. Those companies that run campaigns saying “75% off today only!” give us hives. Our opinion: they’re making too much profit on all the other days if that’s a discount possible to give.
