Repairing jewelry is not our primary goal; we create jewelry that lasts a lifetime and uphold a full lifetime warranty on everything we create. We do have the ability to repair jewelry that were made by other professionals and would be happy to work with you on those projects as needed.
If you are interested in a repair for your jewelry, you can complete your order using this product page and the additional required shipping and we will be in touch with full instructions for shipping your jewelry in for inspection.
The Process
If you have a piece of jewelry that you would like repaired, please consider the following:
Our first step will be to do a full inspection and give you the report which would include
- the costs of the stone(s) based on the final stone size measured in your piece.
- the costs of the labor based on what work needs to be done to bring the jewelry back to new (if possible).
- any other costs or expectations associated with your repair.
Before we complete any work, you will have the chance to review the full price estimate and let us know that you would like to proceed. If you decide to abort the repair after the estimate, the only cost will be the return shipment of your jewelry back to you (which you pre-pay in this free inspection). If you decide to go forward with the repair, the return shipping you are pre-paying today will be a credit toward the repair shipment but other repair costs may apply.
Home Estimates
If there's additional work that needs to be done like repairing a bent or damaged prong (this is common but not always required), we would need to give you the specific price quote for that additional labor prior to completing any repair but can only do that after the inspection. We typically cannot tell what is needed by looking at an image alone, but will be able to provide full details after the inspection is completed here in our repair studio.
We'll be honest -- if a stone is missing, it is likely missing for a reason that needs some form of repair. At times it's as simple as slightly bending a prong back in place. Other times it may require re-tipping existing prongs to make them longer, building an entirely new prong to replace one that is missing, or replacing the head section completely.
