"Have You Ever Tried to Sell a Diamond?"-- REPRINT (The Atlantic Magazine, February 1982 By Edward Jay Epstein)

Selling a diamond for similar cash to what was paid to get it is impossible for 99% of buyers who later want to sell that diamond. This isn’t a secret. It’s been known for decades. Diamonds are super hard, but even harder to resell without taking a loss. Some think we have a way with words, but both my husband and I think this article from The Atlantic Journal explains the diamond resale difficulty better than we ever could.

Love,

Mrs. Cubic Zirconia

P.S. Frankly, as an educated woman...I wonder: HOW is it that 35+ years after this exposé was published in one of the most credible journalism outlets in the world, millions of consumers still pay retail store prices for a diamond (ANY diamond)? SMH.
